In this article, we will talk more about CSV-imported campaigns.
An extra benefit of a CSV-imported campaign is the possibility of hyper-personalization. Each column of your CSV file becomes a variable that you can use to personalize your messages. You can add an infinite number of hyper-personalized variables.
! Make sure that the custom variables donât coincide (they cannot have the same name) with the variables already available on Leadscope.
There are two key variables that need to be exactly the same so the tool can use data underneath them. The first one is ââprofileUrlââ which is used if you want to do any LinkedIn tasks and the second one is ââemailââ where you need to insert Leadsâ emails in order to make an email-only campaign.
All other variables donât have to follow the same format as the key variables. For example, if you want to add the leadâs first and last name, they can be formatted like this: first_name, last_name, etc.
The rules of formatting:Â đ
Here are some of the things that you would need to pay attention to in order for the campaign to really help you maximize your outreach:
! The names of the key variables have to fit the exact formatting that the tool uses or we wonât be able to recognize them
! The variables canât have names that are the same as the tool uses
! The CSV file itself canât have any empty rows.
! The LinkedIn URL that you will be using when starting your campaign must start with https://www.linkedinâŚÂ in order to work
! If you donât have a valid Sales Navigator subscription, you canât have Sales Navigator URLs in the CSV file (example: https://www.linkedin.com/sales/people/...)
! For a LinkedIn-only campaign, the âprofileUrlâ variable is mandatory
! For an email-only campaign, the âemailâ variable is mandatory
! And for a mixed campaign, both âprofileUrlâ and âemailâ are needed
